Are you an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Semi Senior who is AAT Qualified or studying AAT level 4 and looking to start the ACCA, or have already started studying for the ACCA and passed up to 4 of the first papers? Do you have between one and three years experience working in an accountancy practice firm and looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 London based practice which has had great success recruiting staff from small and medium sized firms in the past? Are you keen to work in a role mixed between statutory accounts and management accounts preparation, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, bookkeeping and ad hoc assignments? You will gain exposure to interesting financial services / FCA regulated companies including fund managers, investment advisory firms, brokers and asset management companies. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a large team of over 30 staff that will provide you with many growth opportunities in the future. The firm uses a variety of software packages including Xero, CCH and Sage.
To be considered for this new role due to growth (September 2021) it is likely you will be a qualified AAT (or studying AAT level 4) or a junior level ACCA. You must have at least 12 - 18 months of experience working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from scratch as well as tax returns, VAT and bookkeeping. Experience of management accounts would be an advantage. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH, sage and Xero, would also be an advantage. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 practice based in a City location in Central London where you can continue with your accountancy career, work on an interesting client base and receive top training and support.
