Your new role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Technology division and lead the Technology Business Partner team in discovering avenues for enhancing business output and performance through strategic technology implementation. You will play a key role in fostering a culture that embraces technology awareness and adoption throughout the organisation. This position involves leading a dedicated team of Tech Business Partners and Quality Assurance professionals while collaborating closely with the Senior Leadership team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire, mentor, and cultivate a team of five tech business partners and QA experts, nurturing a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a bridge between the technology department and various business units, working with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that facilitate business growth and operational efficiency. Provide insightful strategic recommendations to enhance business processes via technology that align with the organisation's long-term objectives.
  • Change Management: Spearhead initiatives aimed at elevating tech awareness and adoption across the organisation. Create and deliver training materials and programs to boost tech proficiency among employees.
  • Technology Change Requests: Lead the Tech Business Partner team in converting business needs into technical specifications, designing optimal solutions with software development teams, and managing the Technology Change Plan to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Senior Test Analyst to uphold the highest standards of quality in technology solutions, implement leading QA practices, and guarantee effective testing of technology solutions.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A strategic mindset with the capacity to identify and analyze opportunities for improving processes and technology.
  • Experience in a Business Analysis role, successfully bridging the gap between business and technology to translate requirements effectively.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, system testing, and best QA practices.
  • A strong leadership background, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop team members, showcasing experience in managing teams successfully.
  • A customer service-oriented approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in technology applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
