Site Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a major highways scheme in Somerset, on a freelance basis. Our client, a leading tier one contractor is delivering the works on site, and requires a Site Engineer with a background in Civil Engineering and experience working on highways projects.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Have experience of setting out on Highways schemes
• Provide levelling and surveying across the site, checking drawings and quantities and ensuring the accuracy of calculations
• Provide as-built surveys on works completed
• Be responsible for maintaining QA records and that works are completed in accordance with ITP s
• Produce 2D and 3D site sketches

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations
• A good understating of construction health & safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills
• HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering
• Understanding of AutoCAD

Salary/Benefits:

• £350 - £400 LTD
