Senior Buyer

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based distribution company to recruit for a Senior Electronics Buyer.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimise key spending areas, you will be charged with negotiating on both cost price and delivery timeframes.

Requirements:

• You must have previous experience within the sourcing of Electronic Components ideally from a contract manufacturing environment.
• Experienced in working with suppliers from Asia
• Have an understanding of Bills of Materials.
• Computer literacy including strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
