TeacherActive are excited to be recruiting SEND / Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Teaching Assistants / TA's to work within a specialist school for students who struggle to learn within mainstream settings. This role will involve driving responsibilities, working 1:1 or in small groups with students who have behaviours that challenge. You must be resilient, confident & engaging to work with these students to get the best out of them & support them in their educational journey.
This alternative provision is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants / TA's who can help with classroom management, behaviour support, and encourage learning through creative approaches such as Learning Outside The Classroom / LOTC.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
- Experience in an education / tutoring / health & social care environment
- A valid driving license & their own car
- Knowledge of SEND, including ASD / SEMH / PMLD / MLD
