My client who are a global food manufacturer in Suffolk are looking for a collaberative and resilient Regulatory Manager. This is an incredible oppertunity to work with a company whos products are used all over the world.

The role -

Regulatory support for operations in Europe, the Middle East & Africa. Provide additional support to other global sites as coordinated by the Technical Director.

Respond to regulatory enquiries from customers and the sales force.

Liaise closely with the other global Regulatory Teams to coordinate a global response to regulatory requests, where applicable.

Keep informed of current and emerging regulatory changes and advise management of potential impact on products. Monitor regulatory bulletins for future regulatory trends. Create and maintain operating and guidance documents, accordingly.

Participate in technical meetings and working groups

Obtain and distribute updated information regarding domestic or international laws, guidelines and standards. Report on changes in food legislations and regulation in clear manner.

Monitor EU food contamination alerts, maintain these in an internal database and advise business leaders on potential impact to products.

Manage and advise on issues related to maintaining BRC certification.

Coordinate traceability requests from customers as needed.

Complete customer questionnaires per standard deadlines as needed.

Review product promotional materials, labeling, batch records, specification sheets or test methods for compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Works collaboratively with global Regulatory staff

The candidate -

University degree educated in scientific field or 3-5 years of experience in directly related position.

Supervisory experience or training preferred.

Prior customer service experience with food, pharma and/or allied industry documentation.

Demonstrated ability working in a team

Strong organisational and computer skills.

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work cross functionally and lead meetings and teams

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be detailed and accurate

Experience with research and investigation of quality and regulatory questions & concerns and preparing professional, potentially legally binding written responses

Familiarity with BRC Global Standards and able to lead the certification process to assure good manufacturing practices to produce safe, legal products

Whats on offer -

Competative salary £50K-£60K

Mon-Friday days (37.5 hours per week)
