Production Planner - (days)
My client, a successful food manufacturer, is seeking a Production Planner to oversee the movement of raw materials to finished products, from supplier to customer.
You will build strong relationships with suppliers, supply chain and production departments. You will be responsible for producing daily production plans and forecasts, ensuring stock is accurately managed and monitoring the stocks.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure food products stock levels are managed and maintained
Provide up-to-date daily forecasts and issue raw material reports
Maintain databases
Work closely with other departments
Generate spreadsheets to supply information to the business
Forecasting and production planning for seasonal trends, promotions, etc
Skills and Experience
Planning and forecasting within food manufacturing
Short Shelf-life planning is advantageous
Working with Customers
Good IT skills including Intermediate/Advanced Excel and SAP
Efficient time management while working under pressure and to deadlines
Able to work well individually and as part of a team
