Your Role

As a Personal Injury Case Manager, you will work in a compassionate environment, focusing on delivering exceptional service to all stakeholders. Your proactive approach will facilitate timely and effective claims management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess eligibility and manage liability decisions with the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Provide educational support on workers compensation to workers, employers, and health providers.
  • Conduct ongoing entitlement evaluations regarding weekly payments and medical expenses.
  • Independently manage a diverse portfolio of claims, ensuring each case is supported diligently.
  • Collaborate with Injury Management and Technical Specialists to optimize recovery processes.
  • Guide clients through the claims process, assisting with necessary documentation to ensure access to services.
  • Make informed decisions regarding recovery and return-to-work strategies.
  • Encourage active participation from injured workers and employers in recovery planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and internal guidelines throughout case management activities.
  • Regularly review open claims and maintain comprehensive file reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance claim management effectiveness.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong foundational knowledge in Personal Injury Claims or related fields.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in insurance, rehabilitation, or occupational health.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to create innovative solutions.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation capabilities.
  • Preferred qualifications in allied health, insurance, or business.
