Do you have a degree in a marketing related subject and are looking to work for a growing business who will really invest in your development? Our client, a rapidly expanding Wirral business are seeking a Marketing Executive to join their team.

The role is a key hire for them, and they are looking for someone with a passion for digital marketing to help them generate leads, promote the business, create content and manage the website and other marketing activities (with support from an external marketing agency).

Key Duties:

  • Looking after the social media platforms - i.e. primarily Twitter/LinkedIn to support build brand and new business leads and sales
  • Ensure content is high quality, rich and compliant - and focused on reaching our target audiences
  • Co-ordinate company blogs and manage e-communications to clients and prospects
  • Utilise tools (i.e. Google Analytics etc) to ensure we're producing content focused on specific keywords and digital objectives
  • Help coordinate our communications agency support in terms of link-building and outreach, to help secure content and post placements online, whilst building good relationships with key communications partners, payment/fintech bloggers and journalists
  • Provide input/content for marketing and sales materials, ensuring they're delivered on time and in budget, in partnership with our design agency
  • Create and upload content and images for our company website, working with our website agency
  • Communicate with clients and attend face to face meetings/events as required
  • Keep up to date with digital/social trends, industry specific news and security, legal and regulatory compliance
  • Work closely across the business with senior management, and our Business Development and Operations teams

Experience needed

  • Ideally 1 year+ experience working in a fast paced, digital savvy marketing/sales team
  • Experience in developing and promoting B2B outreach and marketing campaigns - including digital - to support new business lead generation
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced role
  • A self-starter who is proactive, shows initiative and is dependable to work autonomously
  • Excellent content writing skills with an eye for grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Strong organisational and planning skills - ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
  • Professional with excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage prospects/customers and partners
  • Team player - understands the value of being part of a high-performing team
  • Willingness to learn in the role, develop skills and build out the in-house Marketing function
  • Knowledge of social media, including Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etcProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Salesforce (CRM)
  • Familiar with building a Marketing plan covering all marketing, events and media activities for the business

Benefits

You'll be office based at least 3 days per week, but there is flexibility to work from home once the initial training period is complete.

You'll be rewarded with an annual salary up to £25k depending upon experience
