THE ROLE: The successful Market Access Specialist will enjoy an extremely rare level of autonomy and have a tangible effect on the strategy, direction and commercial success of this division of the company moving forwards. You will be collaborating internally with your colleagues in sales and the key aspect of the role is dealing at a highly senior level within the NHS, Integrated Care Systems, Commissioning bodies / organisations and therapy area networks.- analysing and accessing funding streams and patient pathways / treatment routes. Contact level will typically be with Commissioners, Business Managers, Strategic Heads, Service Development Leads and key clinical leads. This division of the company specialises in the provision of a specialist, innovative range of cardiovascular devices (CRM, diagnostics and cardiac ablation) and a rare and highly exciting opportunity currently exists for a suitably experienced medical or pharmaceutical market access specialist to help further shape commercial strategy and drive their business further forward within the UK.
As Market Access Specialist your responsibilities will include:-
Liaising at a senior level within the NHS and ICS - Commissioning, Business Managers, Strategic Heads and Service Development
Analysing and accessing funding streams and patient pathways
Working strategically with your sales colleagues across locations and individual product ranges
Helping the company's commercial strategy for growing NHS businessFor this role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:-
Market access experience within medical devices or pharmaceuticals
Working knowledge of funding streams and patient pathways
Proven, stable track recordThe package for Market Access Specialist:-
Basic: £80,000 to £100,000
Commission: £16,000 to £20,000
Car: Fully expensed company car or £650 per month allowance
