This is a targeted specialist sales role covering the South Region, breaking new ground at the very top of the market.
The outdoor fitness market is growing, and traditional gyms have lost some of their lustre, so your job is to grab the outdoor fitness market by the collar and march it to this new range, which unlike most outdoor equipment, is fully adjustable and able to provide progressive resistance and weights to suit any user, including advanced keep-fitters.
The prime target markets are health clubs, gyms, hotels, leisure and the corporate world wanting to make their offices more attractive and healthier places to work. You'll excite interest and build a sales pipeline with development work on and offline, remotely and from the local office - as well posting regular, informative and consistent content on social media such as LinkedIn.
There's a strong ambassadorial element to these roles. You will be championing something worthwhile in a market that's developing quickly.
Most likely, you've been selling fitness equipment successfully for a while, probably for gym use, and certainly in a B2B context, and you're ready for a new challenge with a market leader. Alternatively, you've been selling top-of-the-range B2B products and had prior experience in the fitness world as a trainer, athlete or sports person.
You understand keep fit equipment and how it works, and able to communicate the advantages of installing this organisation's wide range of innovative exercise and workout equipment to a demanding audience, mostly in the private sector, who will recognise you as an authority in keep fit and exercise.
Sales can be complex and have life cycles that may last some months, so you're used to managing through the sales pipeline keeping a firm eye on your milestone as projects progress towards a firm order. You won't be micro-managed, but you will be expected to be organised, your follow-up thorough and customer communication enthusiastic, consistent and clear.
The main office is some way to the north of London. You'll mostly be working from home and travel throughout your region developing your network, visiting sites, prospects and customers while managing your projects through to a closed sale.
Annual basic salary will be in the region of £45k, and a realistic OTE of up to £65k in year 1 with open-ended commission. If your sales skills and experience are spot on, there may be a little extra headroom, but we can discuss that when we first speak.
