We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Sous Chef for small privately owned boutique hotel boasting a 2 AA rosette restaurant. This establishment is set in a stunning location and is an extremely popular wedding venue.
With a strong emphasis on British ingredients using a modern twist, the kitchen is producing extremely high quality dishes through a variety of menus.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn several aspects of the kitchen, working alongside a close team, with great potential for development. Unfortunately, no accommodation is available so local applicants or those who drive would be preferred.
·Work as part of a close team to develop the business and uphold the great reputation held
·Support the senior team with the day to day operations of the hotel
·Assume responsibility of sections throughout the kitchen
·Report directly to the head chef & Sous chef
·Assist with the upkeep of kitchen hygiene protocols
·Offer menu development ideas
·Assist in daily food prep and service
·Liaise with senior members to hand over orders and requirements
·Experience in high star hotels is preferred
·Fine dining restaurant experience is essential
·A strong Senior chef de partie would be considered for the role
·Have a keen eye for fine detail
·can work independently and as part of a team
