Job Title:Infrastructure and Security Manager

The purpose of the Infrastructure and Security manager is overseeing the design, development, management, support, and maintenance of all IT and communication systems.
You will be working closely with the Head of IT and will manage the infrastructure and Security of the organisation, ensuring IT infrastructure is always functioning as effectively as possible. Covering services that will include; service availability, continuity, configuration, change/capacity management, and satisfying business requirements.
You will join a small team and liaise with external suppliers and support organizations that help support the many different types of technology across the estate.
This is a hands-on role which will involve some travel around the UK
·Maintain, develop and contribute to IT security standards and controls. This includes implementation of processes, procedures and guidelines in accordance with policies and current legislation
·Develop and maintain business continuity plan(s) related provision of IT disaster recovery services and update/implement current Infrastructure documentation.
·Management, design, installation and monitoring of network systems including routers switches, and firewalls.
·Develop and understand the IT requirements of all departments
·Performing regular preventative maintenance on company hardware and software
·Monitor systems to maintain a high level of stability and availability
·Troubleshooting and Fault resolution
·Manage external support partners to improve service levels, providing regular reports against KPI's and costs
·Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for the configuration of the IT infrastructure
·Installation of Computer/Epos Software and Hardware
·VIP & escalated support.
·Broad experience in the design and implementation of security across IT systems
·Implementation and administration of backup & disaster recovery solutions
·Good technical experience of Server and Laptop / Desktop security platforms and associated compliance standards - PCI, SANS, NIST, GDPR
·Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability
·A demonstrated passion for technology with a desire to develop yourself
·High levels of IT literacy
·Ability to work independently and prioritise multiple tasks
·Ability to communicate effectively with clients identifying and responding to their needs with appropriate use of technical language

·5 + years' experience of experience in working within an IT environment
·Experience in defining, deploying & administering Microsoft based Server solutions
·Mobile device and application management platforms
·Threat and Vulnerability Management
·Perimeter network protection
·Security Information and Event Management
·Identity and Access Management
·Networking infrastructure (Extreme Networking appliances, Cisco, HP)
·CISM, Microsoft Certified Professional & / or Microsoft Certified Software Engineer qualifications.
·Ideally from a Retail / Hospitality / Leisure background
·Worked with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
