Your new role
This is a unique opportunity to engage in diverse, headline-grabbing projects in the public sector. You will oversee multiple town centre regenerations, Etihad, Salford FC developments, student accommodations, and high-rise residential and commercial projects at Terminal 2 of MAG. As part of a team of 20, you will report to the technical manager and play a crucial role in enhancing the financial and operational performance of the team. Your focus will be on improving standards regarding buildings, building works, and public safety. Daily responsibilities will include site visits, team collaboration, and ensuring abiding safety and compliance standards in project delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
If you have experience as a building control inspector or surveyor with Class 2 and Class 3 competencies, we want to hear from you! Your knowledge of current building regulations and chartered status with MCIOB/ MCABE will be invaluable in maintaining high service delivery standards. Level 3 - Specialist level in accordance with the Building Inspector Competence Framework is ideal, but we welcome applications even if you do not hold this qualification.
