Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Class 1 drivers to work on a full time, permanent basis for one of the world s leading logistics companies who have a depot based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
We require night drivers for our client who works on behalf of Howden s Joinery. You will be responsible for the timely delivery and collection of building products on a nationwide basis. All work is depot to depot and you can expect to complete between 1 and 3 deliveries/ collections per shift. This job does not involve Handball! You must secure your load and open and close curtains on trailer.
Your start time will be between 17.00pm and 19.00pm. You will not be required to work weekends and can expect to work 10 hours per shift on average.
You will be paid the below rates on a PAYE basis:
Nights - £20.00 per hour
Overtime (After 45 hours worked per week) - £22.00 per hour
To be considered for this vacancy you must have:
HGV C+E entitlement with 2 years commercial driving experience.
Digital Tachograph card
Driver CPC
Excellent communication skills
Customer service skills
