Our client s team, which was founded in 2018, is expanding quickly with ambitious brand goals to become the primary supplier for ornamental wall panels globally.

For an ambitious person wanting to build and expand our client s sales team covering current trade customers, create new sales opportunities with hospitality and interior design clients, and develop an international strategy as the company scales for ambitious development, this is an exciting position.
The role summed up:
As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be charged with developing a sales plan to achieve our client s ambitious growth targets, maintaining current client relationships, and researching and implementing new sales opportunities.
You will work diligently, have an eye for design, and have a business-minded outlook while developing NPD requirements for clients. You'll play a key role in implementing plans for global expansion along with the rest of the senior management team.
Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy to maximise sales opportunities, developing sales and distribution policies that reflect the organisation's goals, both in the UK and internationally.
Promote positive relationships with major customers to understand their needs, influencing senior stakeholders within customers' organisations and premier buyers in the industry.
Define the approach for the overall sale of new business and account retention, building relationships with new partners to achieve desired revenue.
Provide advice when preparing bid documents and integrated proposals for key accounts.
Direct the Sales team in generating proposals and product that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth.
Provide input on sales incentive structure and key performance indicators to help monitor targets.
Delivery of sales against business targets and budgets, preparing formal reports for analysis against budget and strategy.
Lead and collaborate with the Marketing team to penetrate key markets by providing input to the Content Development team based on customer and industry feedback.
Investigate factors impacting sales performance, monitoring changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities. Participate in forums to keep abreast of new changes in the industry and practices.
Recommend changes in pricing structures in product lines or products, outlining objectives in key target areas such as sales volume, market share, distribution channels and profit margins to guide promotions and sponsorships.
Establish customer relationship management (CRM) systems and guidelines to manage customer relationships.
Plan and develop sales strategies for international expansion.
Real passion for interiors, initiative, and hunger to grow the business, sales department and develop team members.
Significant experience in successfully taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Ability to demonstrate strategy formulation and commercial acumen.
International sales experience desired.
Happy to travel nationally and internationally, as well as spending time at both Leeds city centre office and Hull manufacturing sites as and when required.
Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision to plan diary, arrange sales calls etc.
Exceptional organisational skills in co-ordinating projects with the ability to work cross-functionally, as well as independently and flexibly.
Comfortable getting hands dirty to get things done.
High attention to detail including precise and effective communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Develop a comprehensive sales and distribution strategy for both the UK and internationally in line with business objectives.
Delivery of sales against business targets and budgets via monthly analysis and reporting.
Forge relationships with key suppliers and encourage NPD to secure forward orders.
Provide feedback and analysis of the market to inform trade marketing requirements.

Please note, this role will require time in the office in Leeds City Centre as well as at the manufacturing site at Hull HU7 area. National travel will be required on a weekly basis, as well as international travel to flex with business requirements.
