Director of Commercial Operations

Hartmann Young is excited to partner with a prominent UK-based nutraceutical manufacturer in search of a dynamic Director of Commercial Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic leader to spearhead commercial initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, enhancing client relationships, and maximizing manufacturing capabilities.

In this role, you will take charge of designing and executing a robust commercial strategy across various channels. Leading an accomplished multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for sales performance, customer development, pricing strategies, and the acquisition of new business. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the future of an ambitious organization poised for expansion in both domestic and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a commercial team of five, overseeing sales, marketing, customer experience, and commercial support functions.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive growth and optimize production capacity.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through market analysis, key account expansion, and strategic partnerships.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients to ensure high satisfaction and promote repeat business.
• Oversee pricing strategies, proposals, contract negotiations, and margin management in collaboration with finance and operations.
• Foster cross-functional alignment with supply chain, production, and R&D to ensure commercial goals are achieved.
• Monitor and report on commercial performance, KPIs, and sales forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.

This position is located in the very south of the UK, does not offer visa support or relocation.

Compensation: Circa £90k, plus performance-based bonus and additional benefits.
