Job Title: Company Accountant
Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Location: West Hull
An excellent opportunity has been created for a part qualified/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with a highly respected long established company in west Hull. Acting as an assistant to the Group Financial Controller, the role is varied and offers outstanding progression for the future.
Reporting to and working closely alongside the Group Financial Controller the role will include:
-Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analyses and commentaries including balance sheet reconciliations, cost analysis and forecast variances
-Liaise and assist where necessary with the external auditors as part of the year end process
-Prepare and issue inter-company and management recharges in accordance with group policies and instructions
-Daily reconciliation of company bank accounts
-Prepare and submit VAT returns and ONS returns
-Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgeting
-Contribute to continuous improvement to financial processes
-A variety of ad hoc duties as and when required
-You may be a part qualified accountant pursuing ACCA/CIMA qualification or already be a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant looking for your next upwards step
-Broad based skills covering both management and financial accounts are required along with good systems literacy, attention to detail and strong communication skills both written and verbal

£25,000 - £35,000 dependent on background, experience and level of qualification, free parking, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and study assistance if required to finish professional exams.
