The Role:

• Provide expert advice on high-value commercial contracts across various technology sectors, encompassing licensing, collaboration, supply, and distribution agreements.
• Manage IP-heavy transactions, including technology transfer and licensing in collaboration with esteemed universities, research institutions, and life sciences organizations.
• Engage in complex IT and telecoms projects, covering outsourcing, software agreements, as well as emerging fields like FinTech, blockchain, AI, and robotics.
• Deliver comprehensive data protection and GDPR compliance guidance to technology clients handling significant volumes of personal data.
• Participate in business development, client engagement, and marketing activities to foster team growth and visibility.

About You:

• Having 4+ PQE from a top-tier firm or reputable in-house team, although candidates outside this range may still be considered; New Zealand or Australian-qualified lawyers are welcome with minor PQE adjustments.
• Possess strong expertise in commercial, IP, and IT law, coupled with outstanding drafting capabilities.
• Experience in managing client relationships and handling high-value transactions effectively.
• A proactive, client-oriented lawyer demonstrating sound judgment and commercial insight.
