Job Title: Business Development Manager
Reporting to: Employability and Skills Director
Role Overview:
Due to organisational growth, Pin Point Training are looking for a sales and target driven individual with sector knowledge, to support in further growth of our organisation. With Adult Education and Apprenticeship provision, we are looking to appoint a focused and dynamic individual to accelerate Apprenticeship volumes, account manage current clients and support in other areas of marketing development and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Generate own leads and engage with employers via various pathways for the generation of new apprenticeship starts.
* Develop and maintain employer relationships (existing and new clients) and maximise all opportunities for uptake of apprenticeship training and qualifications.
* Attend meetings with decision makers to discuss their training and recruitment needs for existing staff and new Apprentice recruitment.
* Give advice and support to employers regarding the apprenticeship Levy and future funding reforms.
* Undertake organisational needs analysis and design / develop training plans to meet customer needs.
* Remain up to date with the current apprenticeship market, evaluating and identifying new opportunities.
* Ensure employer environments comply with Health and Safety requirements.
* Report sales data and forecasts on a regular basis and meet month end sales deadlines.
* Cross sell companywide services, seizing all opportunities to offer clients a well-rounded service.
* Ensure knowledge of apprenticeship funding rules and employer incentives remain current and these are relayed to clients in a timely manner.
* Collate and distribute SLAs with relevant clients and ensure that all apprenticeship enrolments are planned without delay.
Experience and Qualifications
* Developing new business and client relationships within FE
* Knowledge of government funded employment and training programmes
* Experience of sales and marketing, including cold calling.
* Clear understanding of Apprenticeship funding rules and confidence to deliver IAG to clients on the Apprenticeship Levy
* Strong account management experience
* Excellent communication skills - presentation, written and verbal.
* Sales, marketing and networking skills.
* Generating own employer leads, negotiating, winning and closing new business.

Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday
Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum
