Area Sales Manager required to join a leading windows manufacturing company across Glasgow and Scotland.

The role entails:

The company's internal sales team will provide you with warm leads, where you will then call / visit builders merchants and house builders within your area to sell high quality roof windows and associated products. Full product training will be provided and you will have the ability to plan your own diary from week to week

Responsible for:

Overall sales performance of designated geographical area in-line with company vision and strategy
Growth of existing portfolio of customers as well as increasing business opportunities with new potential partners through various routes to market. Create and attend effective sales meetings outlining key objectives and follow up plans, answer client queries, build brand awareness both through remote meetings and face to face.
Gaining product specification with local and regional roof window installers, housebuilders and contractors
Total account management including credit control and marketing activities
Providing technical site support as required across designated geographical area
Recommending changes in products, services and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Reporting on competitor activity as required across designated geographical area
Maintaining professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and attending industry-related events
Maintaining technical knowledge of all products
Ensuring individual sales targets and KPIs are achieved
Analysing sales data, competitor activity and market trends to continually develop area business plan as necessary. Develop business plans/ account plans for top clients in portfolio including sales strategies, marketing budget requirements, performance goals- assessing and adjusting the results and strategic plans accordingly in line with reaching KPI's.
Build and maintain key relationships with potential and existing clients using excellent interpersonal skills. ASM will be required to identify new and other key contacts within their business portfolio to help identify project opportunities.
Secure sales including training existing/ new clients and supporting with their sales teams. Holding regular conference/ sales meetings, coaching client's sales teams, motivating, supporting whilst identifying and introducing new back sell opportunities and growth.Role criteria:

Time will be split in accordance with company requirements between two product ranges within the portfolio and across multiple product types
Align relevant product range to specific needs of the customer and in-line with company strategy
POS installation and maintenance as required
Minimum four quality calls per day with at least two pre-booked with customer
Technical site support as required across entire geographical area
Supporting new business implementation through structured roll-out plan to continual training and sales support to develop B2B relationship growthBenefits:
