Our client, a well-established and hugely-successful business who are leaders within their field is seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their Help Desk, providing a high level of technical support to their clients, being the first point of contact for any questions, queries or tickets relating to the support of their internal applications.
The ideal candidate will be a technical enthusiast, with experience in SQL and Excel highly advantageous, although this is not essential.
- Be the first point of contact for customers, answering questions and escalating technical problems where necessary
- Manage requests through the internal ticketing system
- Accurately measure and record help desk tickets using the internal ticketing system
- Prioritise and manage your own work, ensuring urgent tickets are put to the front of the queue and resolved immediately
- Providing a high level of customer service at all times
The ideal candidate will have experience in both SQL and Excel ideally, and have a technical approach with the keenness and enthusiasm to progress and learn.
